Hydrosols are recommended for optimally hydrated skin and we are thrilled to offer handmade, organic hydrosols from Turkey Tail Farm, a biodynamic farm in Butte County, California walking the talk of land stewardship and love.
It is recommended to spritz your face with hydrosol prior to applying our Blue Tansy Facial Oil. The pairing of a hydrosol and facial oil helps lock-in added moisture without added preservatives or filler ingredients.
These hydrosols are crafted seasonally and in small batches with organic plants grown in Northern California.

- Helichrysum italium / Immortelle- Natural anti-inflammatory properties. A must for surgery after care, incisions, wounds, bruising and scar tissue. Good for sensitive, mature or congested skin.
- Lemon Balm / Melissa officinalis- Good for stress anxiety and children’s tantrums. Clarifies skin to address maturing skin. Great for after-sun care. Eases rashes, and irritations such as poison oak or ivy.
- Clary Sage / Salvia sclarea- Considered “Women’s Choice” water. Promotes a moist dewy glow. Balancing for oily skin. Promotes a feeling of well-being and considered supportive for emotional trauma.

How to use: Hydrosols are meant to be misted frequently throughout the day. It is recommended to spritz your face prior to applying a facial oil. This helps lock-in added moisture. Store in a cool dark place or in the refrigerator for a longer shelf life. Hydrosols last up to two years and have no added preservatives.
What is a Hydrosol?
Hydrosols are the pure and natural waters created when plant material is steam or hydrodistilled. Containing natural botanical properties and essential oils, hydrosols are able to be applied to the skin as well as ingested by adding a couple drops to water. With a subtle scent and lightweight feel, hydrosols are also ideal for use with children, pregnant women, animals and fragile immune systems.
